Last night i received a message from my dad,

SuSu is my dog back at malaysia home. My family owns her since I was 15, means she been with us for almost 10 years. I'm very sad to receive this message.

Thank you very much for your long service and loyalty. You will always be remembered, and we will always love you.

lazy bug under attack!

Since last Saturday I have been trying to do my vending machine user requirement assignment. Its already Friday now, I'm still reading the UR requirements, haven't started the assignment yet....omg! omg!

Finally i'm not educated anymore...

Finally last night, I had just step-down as an Education Officer of Singapore Association of The University of Adelaide, although number of people doubted my exist within the club comm, but somehow after 2 terms of serving...i survived.

Anyway, I'm very glad that everything is finally over for me. Other than I built-up some networks through-out 2.5 years, I basically did nothing much but to hold the name of the position, at the same time being dominated by limited authority in decisions making, uncertainties of workloads and not being well-informed by upcoming stuffs. A lot of decisions were made before some of us even know about it. Think I was not the only one that think the same. I seriously hate this feeling.

So last night, the AGM was just like other SA's event, once again, I felt like an idiot again. Why? Because:
- Workloads were not equally divided among us, as usual.
- Blaming system was activated.
- Unplanned voting system.
- No proper Q&A session with the candidates.
- No respect from incoming Comm to the outgoing Comm.
- and so much so...sigh..

I kept my one eye closed through-out the event. As long as everyone is happy about it, I shall just keep my mouth shut.

Anyhow, I believe my successor will definitely be more capable than me, even though there might be some dictatorship going on within the association. so Good Luck to my successor and everyone!!

Another busy week...

Oh my goodness...been rushing 2 reports since 2 weeks ago. Every nights sleep at around 4am...*faint*

Knocked down one report few minutes ago, now deciding whether to have a short (20min recharge sleep) or long break ("hunk" sleep) before I continue the other one.

It's 2.30am now.....sigh...

ok, i shall have the "hunk" sleep then....will continue everything tomorrow.

Friday, "how-to-shoot-down-F16" Assignment due.
Friday late afternoon, Singapore Association AGM (finally stepping down)

how does the law works?

Every countries have their own laws to prosecute the criminals or anyone that threaten the safety of the country.

The other day i saw these news:

Politician A stated a racist statement on an election campaign, a Journalist S recorded the statement and published on Newspaper S. Few days later Journalist S was arrested for reporting the article that will threaten the safety of the country, and Newspaper S was asked to explain about the article, and threaten to stop its license of publication.

ok...interesting law...

At the same time, Politician K (from the same party as Politician A) accused Politician T (from different party) for not respecting others religion practice on his blog. Journalist U from Newspaper U published it, the Politician T was arrested. No actions taken towards the journalist and the newspaper co.

OH! this even interesting....so now is the politician's fault not the journalist?

Sometime I'm seriously have no idea how some laws work. Enlighten me! Pleaseee!!!

Dissapoinment yet again...

Its been ages since I last update my blog...yes, I know, I'm quite a lazy person...

Last Sunday, Malaysia celebrated her 51st Independent Day. I went to the Malam Merdeka (Gema Gemilang 51) Dinner, organized by the Malaysian Student Club. It was my very first time of proper Malaysia national day celebration in Adelaide for the last 3 years. Some photos posted on my facebook account.

In general, the entire event was not bad. Only the performances can be better. During the dinner, they shown some MERDEKA advertisements that sent me into reminisces about my times in KL. Here are two that I love the most! "Iklan Petronas Mederka (1999)" and "Tan Hong Ming's Love". It was great to meet up with fellow malaysians in this small Adelaide city.

I am always a very pround Malaysian throughout my life, we have delicious malaysian foods, superb beaches, wonderful tropical forest and mountain ranges, she is a very beautiful country! we even own various range of natural resources that no other country has.....but sometimes the government just demoralized me for being patriotic. We already celebrated 51 years of independence, till now people still dividing themselves by races and religions, arguing about rights for different races, the majorities asking the minorities to get out of the country....and other very disturbing controversy...

Just few days ago, during one of the Penang by-election's ceramah, a ruling party's division chief publicly called Malaysian Chinese "squatters" who do not deserve equal rights and will not have fair jugements/treatments towards the Malaysian Malays. Of cause, as I expected, his statement causes condemnation from various political parties both within the rulling party and oppositions. When various Chinese politians are requesting apology from him and disciplinary action towards him, he vanished....even the PM can't get in touch with him, and the DPM apologized on behalf of him...after few days of big hoo-haa, he reappear on the main streams and refuse to apologise on his racist statements, it seems like he just "slapped" our PM and DPM on the face...sigh...our country leaders seem powerless over this incident, the "drama" haven't reaches its end yet, and I have no idea what is going to happen next.

If the country going to have more of these kinda irresponsible and racist leaders to lead the country, the country has definitely no hope at all.

Sometime when I am walking on the street of a foreign country, I always wondering am I a true first class Malaysian? Will the country appreciate my contributions if I am to serve them? My favourite quote from LKY when Singapore and Malaya merged as a country, "Malaysia - to whom does it belongs to? Malaysian. I hope I am....". I seriously hope that one day, we, anak-anak Malaysia can proundly introduce ourselves as MALAYSIAN, not Malaysian Malay, Malaysian Chinese, Malaysian Indian.....and to build a stronger and well bonded country.

I just have to pray for the best for Malaysia, Come On!! who doesn't want their own mother land to be politically and economically stable? If anything happen, I am very concern about the safety of my family and friends back in KL....just hope that *finger cross* this will not happen again. *touch wood*!!

the unexpected magazine

2 days ago i received a letter from the Adelaide City Council, about the city development for the next 22 years (from 2008 till 2030).

Adelaide will be turning from City of Churches to City of Glasses, there will be more buildings coming up, but most of them will be cover with glasses....i think its going to create green house effect..since the whole city will be cover with glasses.

With this proposal i have a mix feeling towards it. I'm excited for the developments but will miss the calm and peacefulness of the city.

Well, this is the magazine front page..


While flipping through the magazine, i'm quite impress that how the city council no longer keeping their conservative thought, that they are more daring on their plans. For example, upgrade/extend Rundle Mall, more apartments and buildings to accommodate the booming populations in Adelaide recently, more artwork displays and etc...anyway adelaide oledi changed quite a lot compare to the first time i came here...

When i was flipping through the magazine....in my mind was *good...good...good...cool...cool....i'm going to throw this away after i finish reading it....* but when i was just about to close the magazine, i saw a very "suspicious" page......

I pause for few second at this page staring one of this photo......and i realise that there are few people in the photo look quite familiar...especially the one in the black jacket...

Do you know who is that guy? do you know? it is ME!!! OMG!!

When i realised it i laugh till i drop, how can i not knowing it when the photographer was outside uni taking our picture...and for all wonderful faces i have with me, the photographer have to take a picture of me when i was so tired and blur and a bit angry i think.....

I really have no idea when they took it...but i know is definitely happened early last year, because i'm no longer wearing that spec and i also lost the black jacket at the uni gym...*damn*

Well...i always think is cool to see yourself appear in a magazine, be it good looking or not...so guys, if you all wana see more on me can get a copy of this magazine at the Adelaide City Council office, flip to page 14 and i'll be all yours..hahhhaa!!

what is friendship?

Recently i have been troubled by something...not really troubled, but that's something makes me feel uncomfortable...

I have been questioning myself...how far can a normal friendship go? till the extend of having ambiguousness? at least when i was there i had that feeling...which made me wana stay away from it..or was it the way we should treat our friends?

I have no idea...am i just being too conservative? or they are just too open minded?

Lots of people believe that it's very difficult to have someone who is opposite gender of yours to be your close friend, because end up either one of the party will fall for the other party...hopefully this will not happen on them, because that's already a commitment in one of the party.

Hopefully i'm just over sensitive...

Genting Founder Dies

PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, founder and honorary life president of Genting Group, passed away at 11.20am Tuesday at the Subang Jaya Medical Centre.

The tycoon, who turned 90 in April this year, was renowned for his vision in transforming Genting Highlands from an unexplored hilltop to one of the world's most successful casino resorts.

The fifth child in a family of seven children, Lim migrated from China's Fujian province in 1937 at the age of 19 with only a small suitcase and US$175.

The idea of a hill resort was chanced upon by Lim amidst the crisp air of Cameron Highlands in 1964. Lim was then working on a hydro-electric power project at the popular hill resort, patronised mostly by British colonials seeking cool refuge from the tropical heat, when he foresaw a prosperous Malaysia of the future desiring a cool mountain holiday resort within the reach of all Malaysians.

To date, Genting Highlands Resort has five hotels and two apartment blocks at the hilltop and Awana Genting Highlands Golf and Country Resort.

The company, founded in 1965, has since expanded and diversified from its initial hotel and resort activities to plantations, properties, paper manufacturing, power generation, oil and gas, electronic commerce and information technology development under Genting Group.

According to Forbes Asia, the Genting Group founder was third richest in the country with a net worth of US$4.3bil (RM14.6bil).

Lim is survived by wife Puan Sri Lee Kim Hua, and their six children and 19 grandchildren.

I lost 6 years of memories....

My laptop windows CRUSHED!

All my data was "unrescueable" due to the total break down of my OS.

Therefore i chosen the final solution....Re-format...what a cruel decision.

During the process of reformatting, the sorrowness grow within my fragile heart by staring at my photos, documents and songs are being deleted for good...no, i did not cry...not i, but my fragile heart...tearing inside me.

muahahaha!! nah!! not that dramatic lah!

anyway i did feel sad and angry at myself...why didn't i get a bigger external hard disk for back-up purpose? Damn!

Now i just feel like climb to the top of the mountain and shout out loud!! F**k You TahWee!! F********************K!!!

Deleting documents and songs were not the saddest part....it was my photo album, a photo album that contained my 6 years of memories...photos of family, malaysia friends, singapore poly and orchestra friends and adelaide friends....all gone!!! AAAAAAAAHHHH!!!
