I though she-mano is gone?!!

The whole tuesday (5th June 07), since 9am my projectmates and me was very busy with my microprocessor project simulations and writing report, due to the submission was the next day. Yah...all of us are just a bunch of procrastinator. Well...by the time when we were with done with everything..it was already 11.30pm....and this is going to be my engineer life after graduate...=(

After i left the computer lab, i head straight to the bicycle parking lounge to get my bike. I was desperately need to get back home asap due to my long staving stomach...few steps before the lounge i took out my keys from bag and ready to unlock my bike....from the moment i leave up my head and i only saw....railings...nothing but railings..wtf!! where is my bike?!! Is this some kind a trend? for ppl to keep losing their bike recently??!! From that moment my heart sinked into a thousand meter deep sea, although it just a AUD$60 used bike...but it still a bike that i bought it with my money...when i decided to walk back home after few seconds of "stoning", i made an u-turn to the uni security office to report my lost case....recreated scene:

Outside the security office.
Me: Hi, i would like to report that my bike got stolen.
Security Lady: Ooh..where about?
Me: Beside Elder Hall.
Security Lady: Since when you park there?
Me: Early morning till now...
Security Lady: Ok...errmm...what's the colour of your bike?
Me: Silver colour, Shimano
Security Lady: Ooh..(take a peep into the office) you wana come inside and have a look?
Me:(I take a peep into the office as well)OMG!! is that my bike?!!
Security Lady: I duno...but it almost got stolen..luckily one of our colleague brought it back here this afternoon, coz it seem to be didn't lock properly to the railing.
Me: (Checked the bike) It is my bike! But i remembered i locked to the railing before i left...
Security Lady: Good! Are you very sure that you locked your bike?
Me: Yea..i did....errrmm....actually...i'm not very sure about it, coz i was kinda rush this morning...
Security Lady: Well...remember to check your bike after you lock it, it wouldn't be that lucky next time.
Me: okok..thankyou thankyou!! i will i will!! thankyou very much and thanks for keeping my bike!!

so that's it and i got back my bike in the end...what a relief.

the next day i check very carefully after i lock my bike then i left for lecture...feel so unsecure to lock my bike in uni now...but other than uni, where else can i lock it? Rundle Mall? Rundle Street? Hindley Street? NO Way man..those places even worse...you can't even see a ghost pass by those streets after 5pm...in fact is the same to uni...sigh...but i'm really glad that my She-Mano/Silvery Kelisa (haven't decide which name to use yet) is still with me now...

Hope that 'she' can accompany me till the day i graduate...
